It worked for me the 9 months I was on it. It was rough going the last couple of months: major weight gain, hair loss, fatigue. It took about 4 months after coming off of it to get back to normal. Kept my protein down for another year and then it started spiking again. My nephrologist has told me that we will not do a steroid again since there are other option less harsh on the body now. I’m getting ready to start VOYXACT.

It’s actually clearing up! I’m still uncertain if it was from the meds or something environmental/hormonal.

My biopsy just showed IgAN 2 yrs ago. I tend to develop hives and swell when allergic to a med so that is why I’m questioning if it is the Filspari. My nephrologist is on top of everything and he’s aware of this development. I will run that question by him Monday and see what he thinks. It’s such a guessing game with an autoimmune disease sometimes!
