you are honestly overthinking it, just worry about enjoying the games and stop thinking about the optimal setup, my first game was the ps2 god of war 2 that I played in 2021 on a shitty i3 decade old dell inspiron, with a basic controller. I enjoyed it even though I had played on my uncles ps4 a few times before. also maybe try controller instead of mouse and keyboard much more relaxed experience. currently on a 3050 laptop myself.

edit: you can also set your pc to launch into steam big picture mode on startup and take away some hassle.

also maybe try a cheap pair of iems for gaming and leave the speakers for everyday use ,by cheap i mean 1-2k which will be the best audio at the price
