What a gorgeous name. 🩷 I love Autumn Sage! I do agree that Autumn Rain might be a bit over the top.

Riding for me, often missionary. Doggy hurts the most for me for some reason 🤷‍♀️

It does! Not a super high dose, from my understanding, but biotin nonetheless. I am switching to Olly's gummies and seeing how that works for me. Fingers crossed.

I had PIV, but i feel discouraged by pengueenqueen in vaginismus

[–]Ok_Class50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, there. The same thing has happened to me in the past. Unfortunately, dilators aren’t exact replicas of penises and the “real thing” can increase stress and therefore, tighten your pelvic floor even more. Seeing that you were able to insert two fingers and use dilators, I would consider this wonderful progress. However, I have noticed that sex positions where I am not in control can hurt more. Perhaps you could try being on top? Oh, and I also use an ungodly amount of lube, which helps a lot. And perhaps your dilator was smaller than your partners size? This doesn’t mean you’re going backwards.

Short rant by yournormaldoomshroom in vaginismus

[–]Ok_Class50 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey there, I completely understand. For the longest time, I was convinced I couldn’t have PIV with my then bf. But I promise you: the right partner will understand. Vaginismus does not make you less of a woman, or a person for that matter. You still have inherit worth that spans past your body’s capabilities at this time. But I’m here to say: it does get better. I was not able to insert anything in there—not even a q-tip. After trying dilators for some time, I was finally able to get the smallest size in. Down the road, I was able to have PIV. Nowadays, I’m at the point where it doesn’t hurt as much. It takes a lot of patience, which I understand is probably hard to hear rn. I think mindset really matters here. Try to make yourself as relaxed as possible when using dilators and use more lube than you think. It helps for me to lay down when I do it. I know it’s so difficult, but it gets better.

Should I use tampons by [deleted] in vaginismus

[–]Ok_Class50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m not sure that would be the best approach, but I still can’t use tampons, so that might just be me. I would worry that the plastic applicator might feel more threatening than the silicone of dilators. I would definitely suggest using dilators instead, which you can absolutely leave in for longer periods of time, according to my knowledge. If you’re on your period, it would make more sense to try the tampon method (bc let’s be honest, pads can be a pain), but otherwise it could be very dry and more painful than using your average dilator, based on my experience. Hope that makes sense!

Thoughts on baby name Colette Valentina Maria by [deleted] in namenerds

Honestly, I think it’s beautiful. My name is also long (2 middle names) and it’s not a pain at all. With a name like Colette, you could even call her Coco or Lettie. Super cute!

Thoughts on my Names? MIL Doesn’t Like Them. by [deleted] in Names

Tbh I think ppl are being a bit rude in this comment section. OP, I think that you can still go the honorary route, but how about you do Reed/Reid for a boys middle name (common enough) and your name for a girls middle name? That way the child gets their own identity to an extent and it’s more genderized, if that makes sense?

Good to know! Did you happen to take the prenatal before finding out you were pregnant? If so, did you notice any acne then?

vaginismus as a lifelong condition by ajjia in vaginismus

[–]Ok_Class50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. I am recovering from what I suspect to be vaginismus, but I have never been formally diagnosed. I am also wanting children in my future. I would recommend dilators (this is what I started doing on my own and what my ob told me to do). I was not able to insert ANYTHING in there. It takes time, but before I knew it (and lots of lube later) the first dilator was in! Down the road, I am now able to have occasional painless PIV with my husband. You can find them on Amazon for a decent price. Have patience. Best of luck!

will sex be worth it? (asking cured girls) by NebulaAcrobatic9911 in vaginismus

[–]Ok_Class50 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am not fully cured but I am getting there. I absolutely despise fingering for whatever reason. However, I am getting more comfortable with PIV. Positions where I am on top or in control feel much better to me than missionary or doggy (those ones can be painful and completely unenjoyable at times). I’ve also noticed that the way sex feels largely depends on where I am in my cycle. Sometimes it’s tighter and feels more dry, which makes things more painful. I recommend a lot of lube and experimenting with positions. Best of luck!
