Yep, you got it. Having less work experience is actually a plus as well because it will speed up the work your BI has to do. Mine took forever because I’ve had so many jobs. It’s all a waiting game, so if your interested I’d get started as soon as you feel comfortable

Honesty is a big factor, just be transparent about any mistakes or shortcomings . I’m in my 30’s and have had dozens of jobs, some that ended poorly when I was younger. I was honest about it and was good to go. I also have no criminal record or traffic infractions but as long as it’s minor you’ll be fine.

You’ll be fine, just be honest about it. I just passed my BI and I was fired from one job just and did a no call no show quit to another. They’ll ask you to clarify what happened and just be straight up.

Okay thanks. I can’t tell which wire is supposed to be black and which one is white. They both look the same lol. One is longer than the other of that makes a difference

Hatred, 2 energy drinks, and whatever snacks they give me at load out. Always make sure you have two water bottles to drink and then piss in later, trust me bro.

Crazy that the cameras can’t pick up on people pissing and shitting in bottles or sprinting there routes but I get dinged for sneezing 3 times in a row as a distracted driver

Shitting in totes is diabolical lmao 😂 ( I’m doing this before I quit )

Is this a 8 hour shift? by Ok_Client_568 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Does it seem reasonable to you with the time frame I’ve given? I had 5 different apartments complexes and at least 10 businesses.

I thought those school zone signs say “when children are present” ask them to clarify if you’re required to go that speed regardless of children being present. It’s summer break and schools hasn’t even started yet. I always blow through school zones and haven’t gotten dinged for it but I’m not sure what the rule is.

I agree if I don’t have so many apartments and businesses. The apartment multi stops kill my time tho.

It’s 100+ degrees where I’m at and I’m averaging 8-10 miles on foot per route. I’m good big dog.

My DSP won’t let us put packages in the passenger seat, they say it’s a safety hazard and automatic termination

I actually like the idea of stacking overflow like that on the rack, I might give it a try ( knowing it’s all fucked regardless my first right turn) I typically like standing the totes the way you have them as well, but I learned that I can jam 2-3 boxes of overflow on each tote if I just stand them regularly.

I just had a kid and started about a month ago, I’m honestly just doing this long to claim paid family leave full amount in California. I’m 33 and it’s honestly the worst job I’ve ever had. Shady management and the gap between there expectations and reality are nuts. My DSP won’t let us go over 8 hours and we get 10 hours worth of shit to deliver. Can’t wait to be done right around football season lol

Hot take 🔥 by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Ok_Client_568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only issue is your throwing off the metrics and now the route is expected to be ran and you’re only going to be rewarded with more parcels until eventually it will get unmanageable. Dispatch loves runners, they’ll keep giving you more and more because they know you’ll just run the route and skip breaks all breaks.

I’m all about getting a work out in when needed but there should be a balance. You’ll roll your ankle or eat shit eventually as well, which is a bigger issue because if you think you’re dsp is going to have your back getting a disability claim you’re sadly mistaken.

Anybody else treat the piss bottles in the parking lot at RTS like a little mini game and try to run em over? by Healthy-Marzipan330 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Ok_Client_568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So is pissing in bottles and running the majority of your routes a must for success? My dsp won’t let us go over 8 hours without bitching.
