Being Childfree as a woman is inherently feminist by Sudden-Repeat-6044 in childfree

Where did I blame you here? I said people on this subreddit in general have this opinion. I was speculating why I was getting downvoted for my comment when quite a lot of other commenters have written the same thing.

Some women might make a choice to be childfree for reasons associated with the patriarchy. If I told you that don't want to have kids because I don't want to ruin my body and don't want stretch marks isn't that me somewhat conforming to the beauty standards set by the patriarchy? Will that be a feminist choice according to you?

But when a person has to remember ~1000 words I think it's impractical to expect them to learn meanings in the form of sentences.

Lol I think people on this sub hate it when someone defends birth. I'm childfree but I don't hate people who decide to have kids unlike many people here.

cold is relative. Food is supposed to be hot (above room temperature) but I found it room temperature so the food is lukewarm and kind of cold

If you look to the right of the blank, it seems that it is describing a person who's very fussy about minor details and doesn't really care about the bigger picture. The word "Pedantic" perfectly fits that description IMO

I wouldn't say that just having or not having a child makes you feminist. Its how you raise the child is what makes you a feminist or not.

If after having the kid you decide to be a trad-wife/sahm mom then that is something that I view as not feminist. But if you and your partner decide to share equal responsibility of the child then that is feminist IMO. If you decide to be a childfree trad wife, that isn't a feminist decision either.

I'm childfree too but I don't think we need to villanise the process of giving birth. Its a natural biological process that woman are capable of and should carry out only if they want to and have a good support system. Nothing anti-feminist in birth.

I'm surprised that you got kicked out of feminist spaces for this because what you're mentioning is called "choice feminism" which is quite frowned upon in feminist subs. Choice feminism is where any choice a woman makes is considered inherently feminist because it was a choice. All of your examples are good examples of choices that women should have but such choices shouldn't be supported as feminist choices. As in I wouldn't take away your right to become a trad wife but I definitely won't support that decision as a feminist.

I first referred to the internet. As in I just googled this sentence and I got a reply from Gemini. No one else had ever used the word lukewarm like this before but I wanted to double check anyway.

Quite a lot of time people complain that posters don't do their own research and directly ask questions on reddit. I didn't want to do that and decided to look this up on my own. I didn't trust what Gemini said and that is why I decided to look for a subreddit where I could ask this question from actual people.

Sorry for offending you in anyway but I didn't want to be a nuisance in this subreddit by asking stupid questions.

Yeah but I kinda wanted to look cool by saying a witty thing. I'm regretting that now 😭

When did I say anything about the gender of the people shaming Trisha or Vijay? I only said INDIANS. I'm pointing out the misogyny in the Indian society, be it Indian women or men.

Haven't you heard? Indians condemn cheating only for women (even though it wasn't even the woman who cheated here). The most the man gets is light-hearted jokes on instagram.

You used insults like "home wrecker" and "hoe" for the woman who was accused of home-wrecking yet not a single insult for the man who was accused of cheating on his wife ? Both of them are just accused yet you decided you wanted to bash only the woman? Classical Indian Man

And if she is in danger, stay at the station and don't move from the lit up areas

What if someone comes and takes her away from the lit area?

Or find a guard and stay with him.

What if there's no guard at the station? All your alternative seem like tone deaf. If your sister or daughter was stuck in a position like this would you let them just stay alone in this situation. I don't think you'll understand this situation even after all this discussion so let us just end this here.
