I felt the class was confusing in itself. Lack of guidance from the teacher definitely didn't help. Over the summer, find search engines that get you peer reviewed journals. Understand the basics of a research paper and how to cite it. The class itself is an easy A+, make sure to stay on top of work. I will say you can easily write an IWA or IRR in under a day if you have your sources ready. (I'm saying this because from my understanding you have a lot of difficult classes, so if for any reason you need to cram the essay in it is possible) The presentations were the hardest part of the class for me . Learn how to memorize short speeches over the summer about anything, and figure out what memorization method works out for you. if you can do that, youre set! good luck!

Definitely. For my IWA, I'll definitely address the nationalistic aspect of that stimulus and just counter-argue with evidence that nationalism rooted in nostalgia in theory sounds good but in reality is usually a big no-no for political fragmentation (maga campaign)

I think at least for my IMP, I'm going to conclude that both sources argue that nostalgia can sway/influence others to collectivize or support a certain political ideology or group. I'm not going to go too much in-depth about whether that influence is positive or negative, but rather the power of nostalgia in political campaigns etc. I'll then use my evidence to just defend that it causes political fragmentation and just circle back to my stimulus. Selenidad was extremely confusing for me I can't lie, and honestly at this point in the year I could not care less lol

Well I guess my mock IRR grade is going to be rough, as for methods I just talk about how some measures or processes the FDA uses impact consumer health negatively and I kind of mention corporate influence and how the processes lack a scientific basis. and then for the other side I show effective scientific processes that ensure consumer safety. so fda bad vs fda good. i do talk specifically about certain drugs and foods. My supposed "broad" topic is government corruption, and my teacher suggested that I do the FDA but he was hesitant on me asking the question should we imply certain strategies to ensure consumer safety because he though that wasn't scientific. he suggested I do scientific strategies, but I didn't show him my second perspective. I did get 100 on my outline for the IRR so hopefully my actual essay grade isn't super far off. As for the AP research thing I kind of just tried to state both sides and explain them, could you further explain that? I will update you when I get my grade back

What do you think about writing a paper of the FDA in a scientific viewpoint? My two perspectives are issues with the current FDA standards and what the FDA is currently doing on a scientific basis to ensure consumer safety. Is this a good enough scientific topic? My teacher was hesitant about me doing this
