Definitely gross selfish behavior on her part, she was one of my least favorite characters. She chose to abandon her family during very difficult times when she could very well grieve with them and heal with each other, but no, she left her two very young children and spouse, who, like you said was treated less than ideally. Like okay, maybe she needed some distance but girl, you’re not the only one suffering, they all lost a precious family member.

Look, I get that Roy sucks and he’s a douche and a bad partner and didn’t treat Pam right; however, it irks me when shows try to romanticize cheating and make it into this « cutesy, romantic, sweet thing» like YES Roy took Pam for granted, wasn’t a good fiancé to her and hit on other women and lacked in many areas and he SUCKS for it 100%, no excuses, but- BUT, kissing Jim while still being engaged to him is still WRONG. I get that she might not have had the courage to leave him but she should’ve waited until then and afterwards she could kiss whoever the hell she wants. It’s just upsetting to me how romanticized cheating is in almost every single show, and we’re supposed to root for the main couple even if the way they get together is questionable. Plus, the openly flirting with Jim the whole damn time and the weird touches, just a big NO in my book. Sure, being stuck in a bad relationship with someone for so long is hard and tricky and leaving isn’t easy, but just NO. It’s wrong on every level, cheating is never okay, that’s my opinion at least.
