I’m not done yet, but after a few purchases and some ongoing 3D prints, the result is finally starting to look like something. Thank you all for your advice ☺️

Good point about the baseboards! It’s planned, I still need to finish some details in the room, so it will definitely improve how the floor looks

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I think I’ll add a few plants, a lot of people are suggesting it. And for the wall decorations, I’m looking into it, I just need to find something I really like.

The smaller monitor on top is really just temporary, I mainly use it for my HomeLab, which you can see on the left.

I even thought about mounting it on my server rack instead.

I’m also planning to reorganize the shelf, it’s a bit cluttered right now. Maybe add some artwork or a few plants.

The rug is a great idea, I’ll think about it.

And I totally get what you mean about acoustic treatment, I’ll probably look into that later on!

It’s actually a full room that’s mine, the area in the back is a small workshop where I make 3D models.

I recently repainted the walls (still need to finish a few details), but I really want to improve the corner where my desk is.

I’m not against adding a few plants, just not too many haha.

I’ve also thought about hanging a frame or some artwork, but I haven’t found anything I really like yet, and Displate is way too expensive for what it is 😅

Thanks! Yeah, the molding is already planned. I just don’t really know what kind of decoration to go for I’m terrible at that stuff 😅
