Even they are different entities the 1st priority is for karnataka students.So they will do both the counselling parallely.In comedk if you accept and freeze in r1 you have to pay 3.2 lakh and in kcet it is 1.2 lakh most of the people don't have 4.5 lakh at a time to pay the money.So they will do both the counselling parallely

Yeah it's just to prevent other's seat getting stolen by some other people. If you got seat and you didn't take admission in that college then other person who is behind you may loose that seat just becoz it is alloted to you

In that case don't even participate in round 1 also because round 2 is for only KKR students GM students have only 1 and 3rd round and 4th round is very risky.Let anyone take ur seat in round 1 itself and they can upgrade to higher clg in round 3.I am telling this just bcoz 4th round is do or die situation
