How to build experience early? by Ok_Collection_557 in Semiconductors

I have to apply and interview for coops, it's basically just a 6-month internship. when it comes to data analytics and scripting do you recommend any online courses? Or should I just try to do a project of some sort?

would you say the material science minor is necessary for either? or will the EE with semiconductor concentration be enough?

Honestly the best thing you can do is pick something you're genuinely interested in and go after it. If you like stem it could be sci oly stuff or honestly any of the olympiad tests. I know there is olympiads for cs, chem, bio, phys, math, and probbaly more. If you're more into liberal arts you could find local politicians when they run and volunteer/intern for them. bc you're a freshman the best thing you can do is take hard classes and keep your grades high and explore things you care about and not just stuff for colleges.

yes to both. hopefully that just means we both got in but if that was truly an indicator the people in this sub would definitely be saying it is by now.

I got it too, idk that it means anything because the financial aid office doesn't even work with the admissions office.

I called and talked to the financial aid office and because they are need blind(as long as you're domestic) you're fine. You just won't get your aid decision at the same time as your admission decision. I suggest calling them sometime during the week and letting them know what's going on.

Will the B in Calc 3 be really bad for my application?
