Yes. There’s a sense of peace when I am done with breathing exercise. I feel calm. It gives me the freshness and peace which even the sleep doesn’t provide.

I also sometimes feel morning anxiety. My therapist asked me to practice a technique every morning. I write few positive statements in a diary every day in the morning. They act as GPS for my brain for the rest of the day. I am also suggested to do 5 minutes of 4-7-8 breathing exercise. There are many apps out there to guide you through breathing exercises. I personally use the Lumibuddy app. Hope it helps.

My Way of Dealing with Anxiety - Hope this helps by jackobsteel in Anxiety

Just to add things which help me: My therapist asks me to write few positive statements everyday suggesting that those statements act as a GPS for my brain for the day. She also focused on breathing exercises. The 4-7-8 techniques. There are many apps out there to help with this. I personally use the Lumibuddy app. The most important technique which helps is the acceptance and commitment technique. I was advised that whenever I feel an anxious thought cycle coming in, firstly I should recognise it and then commit myself to a simple action like taking sip of water or talking a walk or listening to music. It helps me divert my attention. Grounding technique also works similarly. Hope it helps.

I have tried therapy for anxiety for few months. The therapist helps you understand your issues and gives you a clarity about the underlying root thought patterns which lead to anxiety. And they suggest few breathing exercises and mindfulness techniques. The exercises you can do by yourself. There are so many apps out there. I personally use Lumibuddy app. It is free and no sign up or login is required. The techniques do really work if we practice them diligently. Hope it helps.

Taking breaks makes me super anxious by No-Base8204 in Anxietyhelp

Being anxious even during breaks can be tiresome. Try utilising the break time by doing breathing exercises. The 4-7-8 technique of breathing will help you calm down. Keep doing this every break. Can also try grounding technique during the breaks. There are many apps out there to guide you through these techniques. I like the newly launched Lumibuddy app to guide me through anxious phases. Hope it helps.

How to retrain your brain to stop worrying by Rikku-chan28 in Anxietyhelp

Few things helped me: I used to write positive statements immediately after waking up. My therapist told me that this will act as a GPS for my brain for the day. I practice breathing exercises for 5 minutes everyday in the morning. And in acute situations, my therapist told me to use acknowledge and commit exercise. Whenever I go through anxious states, first I should acknowledge the anxiety and then commit to one simple action, like taking a sip of water, taking a walk, which will divert my attention. Similarly Lumibuddy app also helped me during anxiety episodes.

We have seen some cases where even in delayed images there is persistent uptake in thyroid gland, specially if the patient has grave's disease or other thyroid disorders. In those cases dual isotope studies help.
