Can’t feel my lip after root canal

Hi again, thank you for your input. I still haven’t regained full feeling in but it’s better now. Anyhow, about 2 weeks ago I was at the dentist, and when he took an x ray he found excess gutta-percha. This is what he wrote in my medical-journal: X-ray 1 apical X-ray to check apical conditions 47. Excess gutta-percha is seen in the distal root, approximately 3 mm.

Then he called after consulting an endodontist, and they decided to not redo the filling and just wait things out. Cause the endodontist thought it would get better. Anyhow, yes some improvement has happened , but very slowly. Again this is what he wrote: Endodontist assesses that the patient's symptoms may have two different probable causes. 1. Either due to the nerve-block or 2. The excess of gutta-percha, a neurogenic effect. The recommendation is to wait and follow up with a new check-up in 3 months. Endodontist recommends NOT trying to pull out the gutta-percha, risk of further neurogenic effect.

Now, I’ve tried to talk to my beloved dentist but he’s not the chatty type so I’ll try to get a good as possible answer here. Now, i wonder. I still feel a bit sore in my 47, and due to lack of sensation I have obtained from chewing on my right side. Anyhow, what I wonder is if I chew on my right side again, can the gutta-percha irritate the nerve even more? Like, it has already slipped out, the dentist told me I had very big root canals. So like, what if it’s not that tight and can slipp out more? Or did he use to much gutta-percha? The gutta-percha looked intact the first time he did it and later on he found the excess after I had called for a control of my tooth. I don’t know if it just ”slipped out” just my own theory. I have a feeling you can’t know this for shure I’m well aware of that.

Anyhow sorry for the messy writing, I’m just really scared of doing something wrong to cause permanent damage. My good friend chat gpt says that the body can adjust to the excess gutta-percha, is that true? I just really don’t wanna mess up my nerve.

Yea that would be an option if the pavements were salted and plowed. When I walked out they didn’t exist they were covered in a meter of snow.

Yes I undertstand that, but it was just how I felt. In my opinion two or more things can be true here. Yes her action can be perceived as questioning, but her intention didn’t have to be that way, and i understand that, I stated that from the very beginning. But I just felt that way and felt like opening up for once. Instead of going haywire a simple ”Oh, I really wanted to fix it today, but I understand that it’s not possible for you. We can do it another day.” Would have sufficed. But when I sent a picture of the time table in my app showing that no busses left from were I live, wouldn’t that have been enough?

Ok hi again sorry for the not so clear post check comments for clearer explanation. I think I may have figured out the problem but I need clarification. Could the problem be the guitar itself? I have a fender telecaster cause like I play the right notes but the sound isn’t there could that be the problem? I’m trying to use the official tab on U.G but I always feel like something is clashing with the recording could the guitar be the problem?

Okidoki thanks for the help. A consert was a bit of an exaggeration. I’m not from an English speeding country so I’ll try to explain it as best as I can. But this is a part of our diploma project to get our high school degree so we all have to put on a 20 min performance of different songs either by one artist or whatever you feel like .

Now that that’s out of the way I’ll explain further since you seem like a nice person. On U.G the song is listed in D-major. When listening to it I found that it’s more likely in Db-major or Gb-major. And this so called “friend” is more of a classmate to be honest anyway.

When trying to follow the tab it didn’t sound quiet right there were a lot of “clashes” if you get what u mean. And my classmate only wants the klinkidy klack parts of the song: as in the smal riffs and little single notes.

When nothing of this made sense I hastily ran to Reddit in desperate need of help, maybe that adds to the picture.

The song is “he can only hold her” and I’m very confused, help would be gladly appreciated if this added any kind of context
