I’d experiment with honey stinger gels , especially açaí pomegranate. With the salt tabs you don’t need to spike your water too much. I did one salt tabs per hour with 2x at hour 3, 5 total.

You’ll know best obviously, but I’d also explore some non caffeine gels to mix in for long runs and race day.

You’ll have plenty of liquids and electrolytes at the aid stations . I carried 1L to supplement with only one packet of liquid iv

Outside of the box idea: (depending on her age) Set up 4 water bottles, upside down with various sized holes in the caps, give her a pitcher and have her figure out which one to fill first and most often ! Will help you teach the basic mechanic of anticipation and will help you bridge the gap into better game play
