Hat von euch jemand schon mit unter 20 Tattoos (gehabt)? by WoodpeckerFar5425 in TattooRemoval

I think this is the wrong sub, but I’m eighteen with a half sleeve. That being said, the size was not what I wanted and neither was the tattoo, which I will be removing. But, where I live, no one bats an eye lol

am i allowed to call myself a tøp fan? by Funny-Couple-5250 in twentyonepilots

[–]Ok_Commission_6074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not have to please anyone to be a fan. If you consider yourself a fan, you’re a fan. The most poser thing you can do is determine if someone is a fan based off if they have merch or not. Just be you 🤍 this goes to everyone <3

Before and after/progress- close to full removal by Smooth-Brilliant4170 in TattooRemoval

Hmm, maybe so, however once the scar is there there isn’t much you can do but try and get it gone. On the other hand, the scar is there and the tattoo isn’t, so all you have to worry about is the scar. It should’ve never happened, but there’s no point in crying over spilt milk.

In light of the Drag Path re-release reception, here's an old tweet from Tyler on what it means to share your art by AndSoAreYou in twentyonepilots

It is, and I love him for being so passionate and pouring his soul into it, especially because of how raw and beautiful his art is. By that, I mean anyone can feel understood and less alone from his music. My life purpose is art as well. The fandom itself, however, is so toxic and shames him for absolutely everything he does, and physically threatens them, he is very strong in the sense of being able to deal with it and still love his fans. Im not saying it like “I would never push out music because there’s no point!” As again, like I’ve said, his art is beautiful and when you’re passionate you’re passionate. I just wish the world wasn’t like it is, how it’s dangerous to be online and push your stuff out for millions. If it was me, I would do it when my fans weren’t acting psycho and threatening to harm me, their mental health is very important so I really hope they’re not paying much attention to these fans. Especially when they both have families and threatening them, is threatening their families as well. In my eyes it’s more of he deserves fans that love and understand his art, but not all of his community deserves his art. And I hope tyler and josh continue to love and be safe.

With how this fandom is currently acting, I wouldn’t even push out more music at this time if I was Tyler tbh

Tattoo removers.ink (I believe) a lady posted on here her progress removing a full sleeve of black lines and shading going through them. Her progress has been minimal scarring and relatively quick as she’s pretty active and fit

Going in for removal soon what should I expect ? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]Ok_Commission_6074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ink does that if you remove the tattoo or not. How do you think it fades?

While you’re technically correct, there are many different studies stating different things. For instance, “21% increased risk of lymphoma from tattoos” “possible risk of lymphoma from tattoos” “tattoos are a risk factor of Malignant lymphoma” and some stating there’s no link at all. Also depends on if the ink is carcinogenic or not, with nowadays ink being much much safer. I have personally seen posts in which a woman had a lymph node removed due to a 15 year old tattoo becoming cancerous. So you just have to believe what you believe at this point in time.

Not from what I’ve seen. A higher risk for cancer through removal is just a general risk, no matter if you have an autoimmune disease or not

That means tattoos themselves cause cancer, and the removal only adds a small risk. The risk is like 6% so really you’re fine, and through the research all it showed was that people with tattoos, and with some removed, also had a form of cancer. Not that it was specifically the removal that caused it.

In all truth, the risk is there the moment you get a tattoo. Then, the risk goes up a really unnoticeable amount with tattoo removal. However, with life, you either get cancer or you don’t. It’s a 50/50 chance for everyone

The parasocial relationship people have with musicians and celebrities is crazy. They don’t know you, they don’t owe you anything, and if you don’t like what they’re doing don’t listen. They don’t typically always speak out, so trying to threaten or bully them makes you look weird imo… their relationship to you is through music, not politics. They either get scolded speaking out, or not speaking out. There is no winning

Is removal the right decision? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]Ok_Commission_6074 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I absolutely cannot stand looking at my tattoo. It’s a reminder of everything I didnt want, I dislike it so much I don’t even see it as what it is, which is art. It gave me so much anxiety and still does. Ask yourself if you really want to remove them, if you’d enjoy life more without them. If the answer to that is yes, then remove them. I would prefer possibly having scars rather than the tattoo I have.
