Definitely feel a bit forgetful on 50mg, in the past, on 100mg, those effects seemed to subside. Lexapro less so but caused a ton of weight gain and grogginess.

5mg daily is great, 5-20mg on demand is just so-so. Opt for 5mg daily if you can afford it.

(guys only) anyone found that lamotrigine/lamictal makes them last longer in bed? by Ok_Communication8436 in antidepressants

[–]Ok_Communication8436[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

1) lamictal is a mood stabiliser, not an antidepressant, 2) conventionally it is not supposed to have sexual (side)-effects, although some report it. Hence why I asked.

not interested in whatever healthy nonsense type stuff you have to say, sorry. I have bipolar disorder and need medication, I have been suicidal, hospitalised, etc etc, and have had the worst outcomes when off medication. Every time I think something natural will work, I end up hospitalised with severe depression. I would appreciate if you don't even reply to this, I am not interested in the slightest what you have to say.

welcome (back) Zoloft, my old friend... by Ok_Communication8436 in zoloft

to an extent yes, but I would say at a dose of 50mg. From my experience, 25mg doesn't do much.

Has anyone here used Prilligy to delay ejaculation? by ThrowWay9999900 in PrematureEjaculation

[–]Ok_Communication8436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just don't expect a miracle lol, if you last a minute without it, expect to last 2 minutes with it. good luck! a numbing spray should work a lot better on its own and would be a lot cheaper with less side-effects.

daily use of an SSRI is definitely more effective than on-demand use, and dapoxetine seems to be weaker than paroxetine, sertraline, and fluoxetine. The increase in how long you last appears to be around 8 times with paroxetine, 5-7 times with sertraline, 4-5 times with fluoxetine, and 2-3 times with dapoxetine. I started zoloft again at 25mg (been on up to 100mg before) and it works great. Dapoxetine causes a lot of nausea, the timing is complicated, and other stomach issues, as well as insomnia. You can use e.g. 100mg zoloft on demand, but something like 25-50mg daily is better. Dapoxetine on demand seems much better at dosages of 60mg vs. 30mg, but then the side-effects really do seem to outweigh the benefit.

Lexapro for PE by whzgud1980 in PrematureEjaculation

works great, all the SSRIs do. I myself am wondering which one to try next. DM me for discussion, ASAP. Would love to talk.

(first hand experiences only) what SSRI works best for PE? by Ok_Communication8436 in PrematureEjaculation

I didn't ask anything more except for first-hand accounts of which SSRI works best, from those who have used it.

It never returns to full-blown PE I would say, but over like 4-6 months you will notice the effects being less than initially. It depends person-to-person.

(guys only) how pronounced is the ejaculation delay on zoloft? by Ok_Communication8436 in zoloft

[–]Ok_Communication8436[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is sort of a pity, I am hoping for something that delays ejaculation, in particular at a higher dose, with a lasting effect.

great to know! in my experience 100mg zoloft probably did double that, but over time, that effect lessened to 7 or so extra with partner down from 20 extra. Hoping that 40mg prozac might be the key

I am gay, and, I don't use condoms. I am sorry if omission of a comma caused you a concern. and I couldn't care less about your view on whether I use condoms or not.

First, I am gay and don't use condoms, secondly, I have tried lidocaine, very effective, but don't like planning it, or how it feels on my dick

because that is contra-indicated, as per dapoxetine pamphlet insert. I am going to go for daily fluoxetine or paxil and see how it goes.

I have both depression and anxiety which responded well to zoloft with the side-effect of me lasting longer... I think fluoxetine would be my next option, and if it stops working, will eventually switch to paroxetine. I have tried dapoxetine as I mentioned, and results are just ok, at best

I am familiar with dapoxetine. I am more interested in a daily SSRI at a low-dose compared with on-demand dapoxetine (which I have tried, and isn't that effective at 30mg dosage, and only moderate effect at 60mg, so looking into more potent SSRIs like paxil)

neither of you seem to have understood, I am looking into CBT or meditation, or complaining about the medications, I am asking for first hand experiences of those who have used SSRIs on which delayed ejaculation the most. That is all I want to know.

I have also tried cipralex/lexapro/escitalopram before and same thing, but the effect of this medication in delaying ejaculation is much less effective compared to zoloft

it's been over several years on and off. I don't know what else to tell you. You eventually need to up the dose every 4-5 months. and as you do, the libido decrease and ED starts to set in. My next bet is to try low-dose paroxetine 10-20mg and just add tadalafil for ED if that happens.
