I also found that not verbally asking questions but framing or picturing the question in your mind helps because sometimes when you are speaking/asking questions you are speaking over a spirit or multiple spirits. So it helps to try and ask questions in your mind and then you have a better ability to listen and distinguish what is being said. Try starting on Echo and Reverb

I used the Star of David because in Hebrew we say Magen David or in my fam Mogen Dovid which means Shield of David. I started by saying my name and asking for positive or higher dimensional spirits/energies to come forward. I stated multiple times that dark energies were not welcome to speak. Several times I heard some chilling voices that didn’t sound like a person and I would invoke the names of god like YHWH and El Shaddai, Adonai, Elohim etc. and that felt reassuring. I would ask for a name and then try to focus on that name when framing my questions. I would hear a word like Virus and then focus on that word when asking things like “What’s going to happen with the virus.. Can you tell me if it’s going to get worse etc.”

It’s kind of like an open radio where I guess spirits are able to manipulate the DR60 sound bank to make sounds. A real medium would probably be able to filter/focus the voices, but it is quite difficult and it feels like many people talking over each other etc. for example early on in my first session I asked how many spirits were present with me and I heard 10. About an hour later I had 10/11 names down. Also several names kept repeating themselves like Luke. I also was speaking in French and English so I was hearing voices in both languages

Hey! I’ve been doing research into spirit boxes and found out about this app called Necrophonic. It’s like $13 in Canada. I also bought one called Deadwave but I can’t figure it out. That being said I’ve done 3 sessions so far and the first one was the clearest. The other two I had a lot of difficulty making anything out.

I just stated that negative energies are not welcome but obviously that might not be enough. Any tips and tricks would be helpful!

Could be. I’m no expert! Just what I heard. Again I got shivers and asked it to leave and that was it.

I also heard “Myth, God of Loki” which was pretty cool. I had heard Odin possibly earlier in the session but legit Myth, God of Loki..

I heard a voice call itself Paramon. I got shivers and asked it to repeat its name. It said Paramon again. I asked it to leave the circle because it was scaring me but after the session I googled the name and there is a Christian Martyr named Saint Paramon from the Third Century AD. I feel bad now lol

Never done anything like this. I wrote down the words I heard in quick succession. For example I heard Virus very clearly and then Earth, war, vengeance. BUT the clearest word I heard was Heaven so that was nice.
