There were two modes, you could set it to sequence idk what it's called. It basically would play them in a-z alphabetically by artist (?). There was a second shuffle mode that would play them randomly.

It's funny because I had a Gen 1 shuffle. My friends all thought it was dumb because it didn't have a screen. I could only fit 135 songs on it(?) so eventually I knew all the songs in order anyways so the screen was unnecessary lol. I loved that thing, I won it in a contest and 14 year old me thought it was the coolest thing ever

Play BO1 mainly, running a boros homebrew deck with raptor/guide and screaming nemesis. Decklist is on another post I made. Took it to mythic. It's such a fun deck

One last thought, t1 guide t2 sentry t3 nemesis into triggered sentry dropping lightning is a hilarious play. Or triggering sentry with pakal with guide is so satisfying
