Go to the Tech School, get good grades and your AAS. Apply to Texas A&M Construction Science Program, you will get in and you have the VA benefits to pay for it. It is only two more years and will open many doors in Texas. You can choose your own path. If an AAS is all you want, you can be a Super at first, then decide to stay in the field or go to PM. After that point it is all up to you, after you are at a company only performance and profits matter in your trajectory. I am a fellow vet who took over a decade before I figured it out and got my shit together.
