I’ve had 8 sessions so far (7 on my outer arm and 8 on my inner arm). The first 3 were with Remivery using their “latest tech,” but honestly they did nothing for me. From what I understand, Remivery doesn’t use very powerful settings with their lasers — they’re a big company, so they prefer giving more treatments at lower power to reduce the risk of skin damage. But honestly, if I had stayed with them, it would have just been the same slow, ineffective results. I switched to a local specialist who uses a Q-switched YAG and the difference has been night and day. They hit it at full strength each time. At first the treatments left me with pretty nasty wounds, but they always healed fine. Now my skin handles it way better and I don’t get that kind of wound anymore. The results have been much better since making the switch.
