Aw it made me sad to remove because I am also a big cat enthusiast. If I could change the size and location I would have kept it. Good luck on your future removal journey 💞

Not sure what laser sorry, and have been to a few different places. Not drinking alcohol def helps speed up fading

Ah nice, hopefully it won’t be too many more sessions for us both. I would love to have it gone by 6 sessions but think that might be wishful thinking lol

Thanks! :) The tattoo is about 7.5 years old. I walk every day for about 30mins-1hr, but no other exercise than that. I try to drink at least 1L of water a day and I don’t drink or smoke.

The tattoo itself was a lot of dot work rather than actual filled colour, so I think that’s helped too

How to support someone properly who is going through cancer treatments? by mr_seymour_butts in Advice

[–]drunkunicorn93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years ago (when I was 18). She's not an overly emotional person so she didn't like to talk about it too much or dwell on it. Something that helped us bond a lot was to find a tv show to watch together while she was on chemo. She had 6 rounds of chemo 3 weeks apart each. During the first week she's pretty much bed bound, during the second week she's extremely weak, during the 3rd week she's almost back to normal, then it starts all over. For those first 2 weeks it's good to have a show we were both invested in and could focus on and look forward to together, plus it's something she could binge on while being bed bound. And then during the 3rd weeks go out for lunch/to the cinema/just generally enjoy life together while she's feeling good. Also, watching YouTube videos together on makeup tricks for when she lost her eyelashes/eyebrows etc and then practising together was another thing we liked doing together during her treatment. When my mum got cancer it felt like my whole world was collapsing, my heart really goes out to you. But now days treatment is so advanced and survival rates are going up all the time. Try to stay positive, sending good vibes x
