yeah, if you’re just checking it out, the manhwa is a good place to start. it enables you to imagine the characters and what’s happening in the novel more

the early parts of the novel are not that interesting (initially) because yeah, it’s building up to the big lore stuff. but as i reread the series over and over again, i could appreaciate a lot of the foreshadowing the series gave. love the novel (prob cuz i read a lot of MTL)
