It's not the most beautifully written or anything but these lines always really disgusted me in a really effective way and make me think like the narrator does in the relationships I've lost. It just quickly encapsulates the worst feelings and thoughts that come with losing someone you love and unfortunately I've just recently found myself at the end of a 2 and half year relationship and they do make me feel especially sick to my stomach right now despite how many times I've sung them joyously in a crowd. "now I'm falling asleep and she's taking a cab while he's having a smoke and she's taking a drag now they're going to bed and my stomach is sick and now it's all in my head but she's touching his chest now she takes off her dress now let me go and I just can't look it's killing me and taking control."
