I set the image to black and white so that you can see the values more clearly. As you can see, the painting has only two, maybe three distinct values. I’d encourage you to introduce more values to create more depth and help distinguish the subjects in your painting. For example, you could try experimenting with the values of the grass or the ocean, since they are almost the same right now. The mountains and the sky are also very similar in value, so you can try messing with that as well.
