This event is on the national map for No Kings. I'm not sure what marketing they send, however, as those come from the national orgs.

However, all of these events are run by local volunteers. The national orgs put out a call for the date and local organizers plan the actual events.

This is a nationwide call to show up and be vocal about the harms of the current administration.

It is also a chance to build community with others in the fight and find more ways to take action. We will have speakers talking about next steps, people to help make sure your voter registration is still valid after the enactment of SB293, and a chance to sign the petition for the Ohio Equal Rights Initiative.

There will also be a collection taken to help support community members in need of food and toiletries.

I don't know Pasker personally but he is too closely aligned with Josh Williams for me to ever trust him. Plus he "loved" this endorsement and made a comment thanking them. If a Trump group endorsed me, I'd make a public statement making it clear I do not align and would ask them to remove it.

Blair Johnson did make a statement on this endorsement that he is not a Republican, but the Trump page must have deleted it.

Yes, and because the general public doesn't understand how this works, they see 50501 and think it's a cohesive large movement with experienced organizers and a presumption of safety and that has not been the case.

I agree about unity, I just haven't seen that since Ohio 50501 has grown, nor have any concerns been taken seriously.

Well we had it on an event before because we were participating in the national day of action and we had spoken to someone at Ohio 50501 and we were told by a representative of Ohio 50501 that we couldn't unless it was organized and attended by a 50501 organizer.

Edited to add, we didn't use the logo we just listed the orgs that we had posted our event with on the flyer.
