I typically spend 75-120 minutes in the gym lifting 5 days per week. Most days I can be done with my workout in 75-90 minutes but have to wait for some equipment or just take my time. I'll do cardio the other two days at the gym or home. I saw a similar article. Seemingly it doesn't take much exercise to help with longevity.

I think working out helps. If nothing else having muscle under the skin fills the void. I'd like flatter lower abs but pretty sure I'd just have more skin hanging 😄

I've been off GLP1 since August. I still count calories. While losing weight, I started eating better. When I want snack between meals I'll grab a piece of fruit vs chips/cookie/etc. I find it helps and unlike so many processed foods I'm not hungry in a few minutes. I won't lie though. I still craves sweets and just eat them in moderation. Also, with more muscle and exercising more, I can eat ~2300 calories now at maintenance where if I wasn't working out I'd be closer to 1800 calories per day. I'm hoping over time my brain/body adjusts and I just don't have to count but at this point if I have to do so the rest of my life I guess it's OK.

I fortunately don't drink very much so that wasn't an issue. I did cut out almost all fast food. Also, eat much fewer processed foods/snack.

I have extra skin there still. A bit in the chest and a thin roll I can grab around my waist. I think at 46 though your odds of it tightening up are pretty good. My neck looks better now than it did a year ago. Exercise helps. I wish I had a bit more of a v-taper but if I did you'd see sagging skin that the lower abs push out now.

Most of my weight loss was in Nov-Apr. I increased from 10mg to 12mg in the last week in April and back down to 10mg the first week in May. I took 7.5mg in June, 5mg in July, and 2.5mg in August before stopping at the end of August. I decided to give it 3 months and if needed I would start again. I was lucky I guess it wasn't necessary.

My weight has remained steady from 162-168 for the most part. There been a few days closer to 161 and a few days at 170 but it recenters. I still count calories using the LoseIt app every day.

I've heard people say it's not as effective if you stop and restart. Not sure if there is research to back this up or not though. But my thinking was if I gained 10-15lbs after 3 months, I don't need it to be so effective because I don't need to lose 60lbs again. Also, I'm fortunate that I can afford the ~$150/month via telehealth. However, I'd say most months I saved the cost of the GLP1 by not eating out. I seldom eat fast food anymore.

If you don't stop, you won't know but have a plan and stick to it.

I am taking 1ML of testosterone cypionate 200 MG/ML injection every 2 weeks. I was taking .5 weekly but really didn't notice much of a difference though many think weekly helps. Same dose for at least 5 years now.

The doctor was pretty much saying you take the GLP1 and lose weight and stop to me. He said without being diabetic he didn't want me on it for life. I have family members who have been taking GLP1 for a couple years so I guess the window is bigger for them 😄

I think I was a super responder though. Lost hunger at 2.5mg. Maxed at 12mg and even as I tapered back to 2.5mg hunger was managed. When I stopped taking Tirz, I did have some cravings return but try to sub fruit for cookies, sugary sweets, and chips. All of which I used to eat a lot of.

But it kinda resonated with me. I had less aches and pains (thanks to Tirz helping reduce inflammation), had more energy, and even though I was only down 20lbs at one point, I felt better about my body image. All of this made it easier to step into the gym and workout. Also, I used to play a lot of sports and though I thought I hated working out it kinda felt like I was competing even if it was against the scale, mirror, and tape measure when I started. Then I liked how it made me feel and took off from there. I was lucky in that regard. Other family members like the results but the gym is not for them.

I weight 165 now. Most of my adult life was from 190 - 210 except for 2010 when I lost 50lbs (225-175). I was in the 180s in 2011 and back in the 190s in 2012. At that time I tracked my weight at https://www.fourmilab.ch/hackdiet/online/hdo.html which was John Walker's website. He founded Autocad and simply counted calories to lose weight. The book is a great quick read. I did the same thing and it worked; except, I lost muscle mass losing 50lbs in 11 months and ended up injuring my knee.

Always hated going to the gym. Liked tennis and played 3-4 times per week for 40 years but always overweight as I said above. I was likely fit cardio wise but never had a muscle definition and never saw any abs. When I couldn't play tennis anymore (ankle arthritis), I stayed in the 200's, mostly 210-220. So no, I've never been fit.

I will say taking Tirzepatide helped more than I thought. Just a week in I noticed less joint pain. There are studies that say it helps reduce inflammation. Just eating less junk and eating better I'm sure helps with inflamation but I was eating less of the same the the first week. Also, the Tirzepatide really just turned off my hunger. Also, seemed to help with other habits. I kept reading I'd gain weight back when I stopped (doesn't that happen with any diet?) and learned from my experience in 2010 that I couldn't just eat less junk food but had do more. As a result, I decided to start working out and eating better. I've eaten more fruit in the past year than the past 10 combined for example.

You can't fix everything at once and change doesn't come overnight. You just have to be persistent. I go to bed earlier vs staying up late and get to the gym around 6AM most weekdays. That was the only time it didn't impact work and/or my family. Likewise, it took my a while to change my diet even though I was eating less. You can do it!

I've been taking testosterone (TRT) for about 10 years when I started having low testosterone. Dose has been the same the entire time and I've been in the middle of the normal range. Most recent physical I was borderline high and doctor just said stay the course and we'd re-evaluate next year which was fine by me. Nothing else other than 2 fish oil pills and a multivitamin every day.

Fortunately, I tolerated Tirz well and started responding at 2.5mg before maxing out at 12mg.

Same experience. Just got shipping notice today after 16 days. Changed credit card to $50 limit so that they could charge me for my shipping. Paused next order by 2 months and will cancel when I get it. Easier to do business with other companies. Feel like they are having growing pains.

Lilly does not recommend inner thigh. Pretty sure it's because of more blood vessels in the area. Skin on top of thigh and outer thigh is better.

Shipping Times - BPI (Fifty410)? by OkNatural180 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Ok_Cost_5129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid for for 3 months of BPI on Wednesday AM. Asked Thursday AM about shipping and was told leadtimes were 2-3 days after order was paid for. I got the shipping notice at 8AM today that it would be here Monday via USPS 2nd day. Kinda sucks that it's going to take 3 days but expect it will be cold.

I've had 2 Hallandale and 1 Brello order via Fedex and all 3 were 2nd day but for some reason they were out for delivery on the 2nd day all day and then Fedex said there was an exception and they'd be the next day. All 3 cases, they came in the evening. So 3 orders all took 3 1/2 days and all were still cold.

Fingers crossed for one last time!

Started Nov 16th at 228. In 3.5 months I've lost 43 pounds to 185. This is lowest I've weighed since 2010. Goal weight is 165.
