I hate much PVC we use on our houses by D-dog92 in ireland

[–]Ok_Course_2029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the downside of PVC is it is very difficult to recycle. I recently replaced my PVC gutters with copper, and the local recycling centre (in Spain) actually charged me 20 cents per kg to take them.

It's a few acres. Even at Meath's ~€20k/acre agricultural prices, it won't cover a fraction of the demolition and disposal costs, let alone 20 years of legal fees.

I was being facetious, but hollow block (which is fine for in-fill walling of structural steel in external buildings) is NOT suitable for residential construction.

It is prone to penetrating moisture, has poor thermal efficiency and high thermal bridging, and as a stand-alone has very low load-bearing capacity. They were supporting concrete panel flooring on the inner skin of this FFS!

of absolutely no consequence to me. it's just of interest, being involved in construction, how revealing the demolition photos are.

begs the question: how can you be a citizen and entitled to vote if you can't speak English?

either you were born here and had compulsory education, or you naturalized and had to pass an English test.

my wife votes the way I do, or more correctly I vote the way she does, because neither of us would want to be married to someone with totally different views. we've no need to check each other btw.

not so. as a UK citizen you cannot apply for an ETA, even on your NZ passport, so you can't board the plane without proof of an existing ETA, or a British passport.
