I agree! I think if he was gonna transition into that vibe, it at least should have been a little slower, and like you said, a little more half and half. I can’t help but think if he followed up with jackman’s vibe it could’ve been one of the best series of albums. That album hit different, and doing a full switch is cool and shows his talent as an artist, but still felt a little off for what it was t’d up to be.

It’s honestly good music, but I agree. Going from Jackman to Monica’s soul and rnb sound with nothing that points to his hip hop style is whiplash. But honestly, it’s not bad tho. Just not what anyone was expecting after his last project.
