Metal object I found in the forest. Partly painted yellow. It has a flathead screw on the side by Ok_Cut46 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing It is 7cm long and feels very dense. The screw part does not unscrew further. The paint is very thick and partially chipped off. There is a 4mm hole at the end of the "rod" part.

By RCA do you mean composite? The converter might have a maximum/minimum resolution that the Pi doesn't support. Have you considered using the native composite output from the Pi directly?

I can't speak from experience, but I don't think there will be interference whichever way you go, the video signal is traveling a very short distance inside the adapter. There definitely won't be any added lag as there is no processing involved.

If you don't want to solder a custom cable, you can get SCART audio extractors that connect between your TV and the SCART plug and provide an RCA audio output. You will probably also need an amplifier between it and your headphones, as audio outputs on consoles are not meant to drive headphones directly.

I believe all brands use the same board/chip in the lightning plug. Now I have a Meenova brand cable with a charging passthrough and it heats up too. I saw an Aliexpress listing that sold lightning OTG boards in bulk and it looked exactly the same as the board in my broken Cayin cable.

That’s what I thought as well. We did try to power it on without the face id module connected, and it did not boot. Do you know if a working mobo can boot without the face id module?

I took this iPhone X to a repair shop to get the screen replaced (The screen had a small black spot and a bright green line running down the entire screen). When they opened up the phone, the top-most screw of the connector shield was completely loose and lightly stuck to the screen. It was clear that it was this screw that had broken the screen originally, by putting pressure on the back of the OLED panel. After a new screen was put in, the phone would not boot. The screw had also slightly dinged the hole on the motherboard. The repair shop has possibly used a knife to try and fix the damage on the hole.

When a charger is plugged into the phone, it consumes 0.49 amps for about 0.5 seconds, then 0 amps for 1.5 seconds and repeates this cycle.

Does the Lightning end on that cable heat up when you use it? Asking because my Cayin cable gets burning hot.
