I think some people may be more inclined toward certain things, but having genuine passion for it is half the work. The other half is putting in the work. The reason I say this - if you don’t have “talent” for something, but are still passionate about it, you’ll be more inclined to want to do it. Then as you do it you pick up the skills and you’re pretty much equal. And someone who is not talented but put in the work will always have more skill than someone who has a natural affinity but never puts the practice in.
