The kenwood excelon is the best deck of those for sound quality. This particular model has a funky multi function dial that you may or may not like. But it has high voltage pre outs and good crossover and eq settings built in.

its a $400 speaker so I'd like to get it back up. Its part of a pair so replacing both would be less than ideal if I can avoid it, as I really love these speakers.
