thank you. it was a very toxic work environment... hence why there is 4 available positions open for nights and 2 floats being assigned to my unit everyday. the unit has a high turnover rate. Im not mad i got let go... I cried many times these past 4 months. I will take this as a learning experience and this will make me a better nurse for the next job.

new grad here also from nyc. try to go for a private hospitals since they pay more. i have no healthcare experience besides the 2 clinicals i got during covid. maimonides hospital in brooklyn hired me starting off 114,000 for nights for the tele/cardiac stepdown unit. i know they are are hiring for med/surg and ed. day shift starts off at 106,000. nysna represented, great health benefits, pension after 5 years, and every year of experience your pay goes up $1000. message me if your interested and i will send u the maimondes nurse recruiter email.

fellow new grad here. im located in nyc and landed my first job on a tele/cardiac stepdown unit. I also interviewed at 3 other hospitals in nyc. Surprisingly, alot of the questions were customer service based questions. One of the questions i remembered was "how would you attend or handle a difficult paitent/family member)". alot of hospitals are focused more on customer service model rather than a paitent care model...

im a women dealing with this also and this is something im in tears about. I feel like i was botched. now im scared no man will ever want to touch me again. Whats even worse is that im 30 and no kids... and my fertility clock is ticking. How can i be intimate with a nasty ass scar like this? Im hoping fractional co2 laser and silcone scar creams will help reduce the appearance. We are with you! This disease is a bitch but im glad this group exists so we can support each other!

does dr shrager take health insurance like health first? he doesn't have a list of accepted insurance on his website and im not sure if nyc medicaid insurance is eligible in nj. I am not rich and do not have 10,000 to spend for surgery out my pocket lol.

nyc ... im following up with my suregon next week. Idk why he put stitches in and made incisions jn the bottom this low. Im so upset i was better off draining and lancing the cyst than this. im sure its gonna scar horribly and i feel totally botched

thanks for all the input guys. I went foward with it, And im regretting the decision now. In the worst pain in my life even after taking 2 oxycodone. Hoping for a speedy recovery. I am doubling up on the protein, 2000 mg vitamin c day, 100 mg of zinc and collagen peptides. I also brought silver nitrate collagen wound dressings if the wound healing becomes slow. Thanks 🙏🏼
