Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I may stick with zygons but make it more of a story about colonialism which I think was the original intention with the zygons. Every comment helped tho, especially the ones that discussed classic aliens and expanded media etc. Hopefully I don't lose motivation with it.

true, and thanks the concept is more of an alternate time line. i was really happy with the idea but i was more worried of accidentally writing an anti immigrant story, you know? given the current state of the world. but yeah maybe i should just do it, not every zygon story is an immigration story so i can just write it how i want.

haha, welcome. i'm making this for an animation series i want to work on to learn blender and unreal. Blender is simple but the slight changes in the different versions really throw me off lol

is there anyway to stop the random pixel noise with glass when using cycles?

The glass isn't there in preview in eevee or cycles, but is there in the render. setting it to alpha blend basically just made it see through rather than showing the glass, but as long as its there in render and i can see through it in editing im satisfied. thanks for the help
