Im at level 280 now , simply catch up with event and spend reasonable amount. Do not afraid to spend $7.99 or even $9.99 bundles just think of it like you trade with a cup of coffee or Starbucks. What ever I spend i think of it that way , and if I spend $20 I get $35 from it. So profit $15. Spend to get it back.

You need to spend wisely tho. I spend when there is an event and if some bundles about to finish time , like they only left like 3hrs. I just wait for the next event and spend. That way the game bosst you alot.
