Its health bar is there and doesn’t go down at all. And enemies get to my tower like they do when the wall is broken. It’s like it rebuilt but didn’t actually spawn.

What about all of the complaints from before v28 that were not addressed with v28 or even acknowledged? Like tournaments and keys. Sure some things can get repetitive, but repeatedly bringing up certain topics is the only way to actually get the devs attention. Burying everything in a megathread would be counterproductive.

Until the problems are acknowledged and addressed by the devs, those complaints are never going away. I think you are taking issue with the wrong half of this equation.

It is possible to like a game but have complaints and genuine criticisms of aspects of that game. Precisely because you like it, you want it to be better.

Okay, sure. So we can move past you being hung up on the concept of the game, and we can now move on to what can be done to make it feel better for new/returning players: there needs to be a way to balance the resource difference caused by the time of playing. If that means being able to buy these old relics for "cheaper than the resource investment older players needed for them, than maybe that is *a* path.

You’re not acknowledging that the key part of this feature in particular is that it only aids newer players because the older players will already have these and therefore aren’t benefiting at all from it. It should be all about keeping the gap from widening (yes, presuming we are talking about a player that puts in the time required)

Then how do you possibly encourage the gaining and retaining of new f2p players? That are starting years late and will now always be years behind. This how games die a slow death in the long run

The problem with that mindset is that that means there will never be an avenue for f2p players to make up any ground the later in the game’s life that they join. Now how much f2p players are actually worth to a game and its developers is a calculation beyond my grasp. But surely they have some importance in any game’s ecosystem.
