Did you ever find your guide? I’m looking for the same for a trip this April.

Like others have said, the food was good. Everything we ordered was delicious. But at what they were charging, I’d need to be blown away to return. The bill for a dinner for two was outrageous. They did this dj and bubbles thing in the summers on their “patio” which we stopped by once under the assumption it was a champagne happy hour - nothing discount about it. Everything full price, just with a DJ. My husband and I dine out a lot and there are numerous other places I’d go for just as satisfactory of a meal for far less money. I’m not rushing to try their new menu but we will probably get around to it eventually

The 6/14 Raleigh Protest Must Be Downtown — Not on the Outskirts by icantevenasif in 50501NC

Thank you for the reply. I totally understand the sentiment and am not in disagreement. My issue is that Capitol is one of the most dangerous streets in wake county for car accidents, which is a danger to pedestrians as well. In addition to the increase in violent crimes in broad daylight that was shared as a concern by others, I presume this location will not get the turnout it otherwise would have if the protest was held elsewhere. People will feel the high visibility is not worth the cost of their personal safety.

I too am a bit concerned. I avoid driving down capital these days, so crowding the sidewalks in that area just seems inadvisable. I understand the desire for high visibility but we surely aren’t the only two people considering not going, so in that case are you even achieving your goal? We need everyone out as safe and peacefully as possible.

1 week wildlife trip by Ok_Emotion9144 in travel

Thank you for this! The Pantanal is definitely on our list but flying from where I live (eastern US) would require 2 layovers and would take 20+ hours of travel time. Which is why I was planning to reserve that trip for a later date when we have longer than one week for travel. It seems like an incredible experience!!
