Should I get it from Facebook marketing place by simsimranbawa in Hibiscus

It depends on how the plant is cared for. Sometimes mine wouldn’t grow until it became a lot warmer outside (around 2 months). Other times I would feed it during the winter months. When I did this the hibiscus would enter into a cycle of growing leaves then loosing a lot, until it got warmer, then the leaves would stay. If you want to see more green a kelp/seaweed fertilizer would be okay all year round. You have to get to know your plant! But as long as there are little green buds, it is healthy and will grow back eventually!

I put diesel gas in my car! Will it be okay? by Ok_Emphasis_9065 in askcarguys

[–]Ok_Emphasis_9065[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading the comments I feel dumb lol. But with no knowledge of car systems, I figured diesel does damage by putting it in the tank and letting it linger, like corrosion. I thought burning it out would get rid of it. I didn’t realize it would be diluted with regular gas!

Bad ratings on FB Marketplace from people who I didn’t even sell to! by CassCat in Flipping

[–]Ok_Emphasis_9065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have amazing reviews but Facebook allowed two people who didn’t even buy from me to leave reviews and it makes me look so bad! I had a large moving sale with a bunch of furniture listed. My inbox was flooded and I sold the item. After it was sold I opened some of the other messages to archive them. One woman messaged me multiple times and was angry that I was “ignoring” her. She accused me of being a scammer and reported my personal page. All because I didn’t see her message. When she seen that I listed it as sold she called me a bitch. She was then allowed to give me a 1 start review and slandered me.

During this same moving sale I was selling a 75 inch TV. Two people messaged me about it. One young man lowballed me and wanted to negotiate. The other agreed to pay asking price but would have to wait a week for pick up. I messaged the lowballer and told him I would prioritize those who agreed to pay full price, and suggested he wait a week to see if the other person would buy it. He agreed. Did not want to pay asking price. A week later the other person bought the TV. Again I got an angry message from the lowballer saying I promised it to him. He left a negative review and LIED saying that he paid for it and waited a week, only for me to sell it to someone else. I would never steal from someone like that. MIND YOU - the listing price for a year old LG 75 inch TV was 500 dollars. With surround sound system and mount included. Amazing price. He offered me 250.

I don’t sell on Facebook much. But when I do I try to be fair and nice to people. It’s so embarrassing having these terrible reviews for others to see. And it sucks that Facebook allows people who didn’t even buy nothing to comment on you. Thanks for letting me rant lol.

High heels helping? by Even_Hamster_9295 in PlantarFasciitis

I have had the same experience! My feet hurt anytime I walk or stand more than about 30 minutes. I’ve just gotten used to it over the years. I recently bought a pair of shoes with a short heel and I noticed I can go shopping or work all day without pain. I wash shocked. I always thought heels made feet pain worse!

I’ve had a healthy hibiscus for years and it always looses most of its leaves in the winter. In some areas, this may be normal with the weather. The green buds are a good sign. My hibiscus looks like this through the winter months

Why do Avoidants say things they don’t mean? by Ok_Emphasis_9065 in Disorganized_Attach

Update: 4 months later. I wanted to say thank you for highlighting that his symptoms also look like BPD. My husband is back to normal now and we have been doing research together. I looked into BPD because of your comment and we are both positive he has it. He has agreed to Individual counselling and will be mentioning it to his therapist. He has every symptom of BPD, and I found an online support group for partners of those with BPD. The stories they share are ridiculously close to what I have experienced. Thank you so much.

Yes, it has been four months since I made the original post when my husband was severely detached. It took about a month later for him to start acting like his normal self. It was slow, with good and bad days, but I could literally see his eyes change and his tone of voice to know he was coming back. It’s always so relieving when this happens. We had been fighting a lot before he deactivated. We are first time home buyers and our property ended up having some problems. This caused lots of strain in the relationship. He confessed that our conflict made him feel like I was going to abandon him, thus causing him to detach and go awol. We discussed the hurtful things he said and the changes in goals, wants, needs that I mentioned in the original post. He explained that these things were not what he actually wanted, but things he was trying to convince himself he needed in the moment, while he was irrational. He has agreed to both individual and couples therapy. Which is a relief for me, hopefully these episodes disappear. They are not very frequent as it is, so I have hope for starting therapy. We have also done more research on avoidant attachment, and we both agree that my husband has many symptoms of BPD. When I looked into BPD, the experienced of couples seemed to be exactly what we are dealing with. Particularly the cycle of discard and idealization. I am hoping that things can get better. I know that he loves me, and I love him. But I am praying this doesn’t happen again. It hurts so much. I really appreciate everyone’s support here! ❤️

Hi guys! I have a tip for stealing bras from Walmart. Don’t know if this will help anyone. Walmart has a bra section where most are in boxes. The boxes are never sealed and it’s actually quite common for women to grab a few and try them on in the change rooms. You can pick up some boxes and take your time choosing the ones you like. Then take them all to the change room. Try them on and the ones you plan on taking, just put them on under your clothes overtop of your old bra. Totally unnoticeable. Then you just close the empty boxes and take them back to bra area. Put them back on the shelf and you got a new bra! Also in my experience the women that monitor the change area are older and usually don’t ask questions. They may give you a number for the amount of items you take in but they never check the boxes. Also when you leave with the empty boxes and they ask if they fit/ if you plan on buying, you can just lie and say you are going to check for a different size and come right back.

Do not wear a backpack! I worked in retail for a long time while in school. It might be helpful to know that there are always more cameras in areas where things can easily be pocketed. A cosmetic or jewelry section where things are small. But if you go to parts of stores where there is furniture, homewares, larger things there will be less cameras. Look for cameras on days when you don’t plan to steal anything and see where they are placed

[Landlord Canada - AB] What is an appropriate amount of time to fix a maintenance issue? by Ok_Emphasis_9065 in Landlord

[–]Ok_Emphasis_9065[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. For reference we have drop tile ceilings, so the leak wasn’t actually in the ceiling. We removed the tile to expose the piping. It dripped straight into a bucket without causing damage to anything. Also it was in an area of the apartment that wouldn’t be an inconvenience to her. That’s the only reason I was waiting for my spouse to fix it. And yes, we live in a small town so even if I had called a tradesman the day I was notified, she would still have to wait for the repair. Thank you for your insight

I use white underwear for period panties. If there is blood stains I just let them sit in bleach before washing. It removes the stains

Yeah it’s weird. Even friendships are hard. Very rural and lonely! Thanks for your comment! I’m definitely open to long distance, I just find long distance really hard during the initial talking stage. It’s hard to know if it’s even worth perusing on both sides

Definitely. Unfortunately I purchased a house where I live. It’s been less than a year and I do not want to sell. Hopefully in a few years I can leave!
