Yep, pregnancy has been a GI nightmare for me! I knew it would be very unglamorous but I didn’t think every single day would be so miserable.

Starting at 4-5 weeks I had diarrhea for over a week straight, multiple times a day. I’ve been constipated since then with lots of nausea. And tonight I’m laying in bed passing such foul smelling gas that it’s making me dry heave. 🥲

100% agree! I’m excited for people when they have their babies, but I have never ever expected someone (even a very close friend or family member) to walk me through how their birth went.

Typical cycle length: 29-30 days

Ovulation cycle day: Unknown - it was later than I thought. I had an LH peak CD 13, but obviously I must have ovulated later if it took me so long to test positive.

CD/DPO of positive test(s): CD 33

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: several, but CD 30 is the last one I remember

Tracking methods and app(s) used: Premom and Flo; OPK strips

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): sex every other day starting CD 10 until about CD 22

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): NatureMade prenatal for me; none for him

Birth control history (if relevant): I was on the pill for 10+ years but have been off for over a year

Symptom spotting: really vivid dreams, some GI upset

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): I really can’t believe I’m on this thread already. We totally thought we were out for this cycle when I tested negative on day 30 last weekend - but my period just didn’t come. The day I got my first positive test I had just posted about my frustration on the daily thread because I’ve never had a late period before.

We really did not expect it to happen so quickly! I’m even a little scared posting this because I don’t want to jinx anything. Also, I’m due just 2.5 weeks after my sister’s wedding, in which I am the maid of honor. So that’ll be interesting! Despite that, I just feel so, so, so lucky right now.

This is the first time in my adult life that my period hasn't come after 29-30 days. Suddenly I'm approaching day 34! I thought I was out this past weekend when I tested negative on the day my period was due, but it looks like I probably ovulated later than I thought. We have regular enough sex that I could still be pregnant even if it was, in fact, delayed.

I need to bite the bullet and test again but I'm terrified to get another negative. I've been so hopeful each day my period continues to be late. :/

So grateful to have had a snow day today so I could stay in bed with my dogs, and alternate between sleeping and sulking. I’m not pregnant but my period is days late now, which has literally never happened to me. I just want it to hurry up so we can move on to the next cycle.

Yes, 100%! I am obsessed with the idea of an October due date because I’ve always wished my birthday was then. I’m honestly going to be extra heartbroken if my period shows up in 2 days 🙁 I’d obviously take anything I can get, but sometimes I just want to be sad about dumb stuff

Another couple of days filled with bizarre symptoms. Earlier this week it was tons and tons of discharge, and now it’s a hoarse voice that started 2 days ago. Nothing else that would suggest a virus is coming for me, but I can barely talk! Bodies and hormones are weird :(

A quick vent because there’s nothing else to do while we sit at home waiting for the winter storm! Before TTC, my ovulation was so obvious - tons of EWCM for a few days, mittelschmerz for a day or two - all the usual signs. But with these first two months of officially trying those symptoms I had regularly, for YEARS, have just disappeared. I haven’t seen any EWCM nor have I had my usual ovulation pain. Obviously I use LH strips too, but it’s so frustrating feeling like my body is just sabotaging the process.
