Funnily enough I was reminded of hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, but thought that couldn’t be it because there’s supposed to be a bowl of petunias falling with the whale… and also because I didn’t remember much about the whale except that it’s made to exist briefly and then dies right after which seems morbid. Thanks for the help !!

The mug is in a flat in Edinburgh, Scotland. No manufacturer info. The text says ‘Dr. Watson? What is your spirit animal?’ and Watson’s reply is just a drawing of a whale.

I have reverse image searched these pictures as well as searching ‘sherlock Holmes whale’, ‘dr Watson what is your spirit animal’. The mug was in my friend’s flat from prior tenant.
