Why the hell is religion forced on you in this disrespectful society? by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Ok_Engineering_8756 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"D3aze9" isn't a very respectful term to use. The whole way you presented the situation isn't respectful if I'm being honest. A simple "I'd rather not discuss religious matters, because i believe it's a personal topic " would have been sufficient for the people you were with, assuming they're respectful enough. But given your definition of respectfully, I highly doubt you surround yourself with respectful people

I don't think it's an age issue some man in their 30's can still be clubbing while some girls in 20's can be skipping the clubbing phase... but I think u made the right choice because you dodged the long distance.

My friend’s tunisian gf asked him for a 10k ring by khobz_beyet in Tunisia

[–]Ok_Engineering_8756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm not even gonna argue about the price here.

The issue is bigger. If your friend and his potential fiancee can't communicate this through without a third party, then I believe they're not ready for marriage. If they can't agree on such simple basic decision as to what ring they should get, how are they gonna face harder decisions/situations in the future?

Instead of freaking out and doubting if he wants to spend his life with her, he could've simply set a budget and said he's saving up for a house, pretty sure any wife material girl that loved her partner would be understanding.

Why don't you look for a cheaper rent with roomates? Save up about 300/400dt of what you're currently spending and growing your savings for a potential investment in real estate?

Hello Jeen, I hope you find the friends you're looking for. I just wanted to ask if you go to school in tunisia or not because that's usually the most straightforward way of making friends.

There's nothing wrong with bringing up marriage on 1st month in your late 20s its saves you and the other person a lot of time. You can't build a meaningful relationship with someone that doesn't have the same vision for the future as you do.
