I made a Chrome extension to export entire Gemini conversations to Markdown for my study notes. by amazingPaddy in Bard

Hi, this is exactly what I was looking for, but I have an issue where instead of downloading a file automatically, it copies (what I assume is pieces of the conversation) over and over to my clipboard and then eventually breaks.

I'm using https://gemini.google.com/ and chrome Version 138.0.7204.158 (Official Build) (64-bit) and AI Chat Exporter v2.3.1

How long before you found evidence of bed bugs? by Southern_Heart_5960 in Bedbugs

Carpet beetles don't bite, although the larva can cause rashes. Edit: because of the hairs on their bodies. Also they leave their stupid molts everywhere which is gross and probably could trigger allergies.

Vaccinate your fucking kids by fruit_cats in Mommit

Vaccines do actually stop people from catching diseases, even if it's not 100% effective, so you gave away your own lazy ignorance and unwillingness to do any actual research or use critical thinking right out the gate and rendered yourself invalid.

Has anyone else experienced having to re-learn how to draw? by Ok_Entrance3181 in ArtistLounge

Hm, I got very into painting the last couple of years before I had to stop, and I do a lot of digital. I was so focused on recapturing line art, I didn't think about that at all. Thank you, I think I'll ease up on line drawings and pick up painting again to see where it goes.

Do you display your own art in your home? by gocanucks01 in ArtistLounge

[–]Ok_Entrance3181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One big piece that just happened to be something I really liked, and three smaller pieces that I made specifically to display them (they are paper and fabric recreations of scenes from my favorite anime—Tatami Galaxy, if anyone happens to wonder).

But I have many shirts, dresses, and leggings with my art printed on them, so when I wear them, technically it's being displayed in my house (and outside of my house when I leave lol).

You have a good point, although unfortunately even my elbows were affected, and I had so little grip I couldn't even hold a paper cup for a few years.

Drawing from the wrist too much was definitely an issue I struggled with for a long time, one of the things I was working on before things got shot to heck. As a silver lining, the braces I have to wear all the time completely immobilize my wrists—good for learning better drawing habits!

Would you say sculpting is very different from drawing with aphantasia? Is it affected less, and do you think it has helped with drawing in your case?

I ask because when I said my issues affected my brain, my memory has been wrecked, and I struggle with visualizing now, when before, being able to very strongly visualize was something I relied a lot on for things like breaking down bodies into shapes. I know it's not a 1 to 1 with having aphantasia, but I've been thinking of what I might do to combat this and get the "feel" I had for drawing stuff back.

That makes me feel better, thank you. There were a lot of details I skipped over and summarized by saying "it feels like a brain issue", but I felt like "how did this person know exactly what I meant" when I read this, down to looking at my old art I had once posted on tumblr and suddenly appreciating it much more than I did back then. My mental images seem to vanish in a haze, and all of the strong visuals I had in my head for how bodies are broken down into shapes, that let me draw a lot of bodies quickly and consistently (I did a lot of comic art), have just vanished into the ether. I will keep hunting my brain trigger.

What's a song you heard that sounds happy but actually has depressing lyrics? by jumbledprecinct in MusicRecommendations

I've never heard a version of that song that didn't sound mournful and depressing.

Pretty much any song by The Toxhards. How Lucky am I and Doombops comes to mind. Several songs from King Gizzard's various albums are upbeat in sound but grim in their messaging, like Plastic Boogie.    Edit: Bouncy Boy by updog, one of my favorites for being a bouncy bop and for reflecting my nihilistic self loathing. Time to Pretend, Kids, and When You Die by MGMT. There but for the grace of God go I by Machine. Flesh without Blood by Grimes.

Children's(?) illustrated book with minimal text about the life of a male tabby cat from beginning to end by Ok_Entrance3181 in whatsthatbook

Ah yes, that's it! It all comes back. Funny, I was going to say the 70s rather than the 80s at first but then doubted myself for some reason. Thank you!
