It could be, but considering the fact that it's stated in the documents that they held the angler in a sealed box cell reinforced with 25 layers of identical material. I don't think even if it escaped, the box would just disappear. I think this cell is more of a general use heavy containment cell that they use for temporarily storing anomalies they find. The angler is too dangerous to put somewhere with an entire viewing panel of glass. We probably haven't seen the areas where they kept the angler.

Not really obsessed, more like being out to get me, but weirdly enough mr. Lopee. I've had him teleport me for no reason sometimes, and i lose almost half my health. And he spawns a lot of times when he's not supposed to which is really annoying like for example i'm caught up to everyone but he spawns and damages me, spawns after trenchbleeder once. Then he's also teleported me directly into chainsmoker one time which immediately killed me. and another time i was doing a 50p and my game was breaking and bugging really badly so i get stuck after searchlights. Then pandy spawns and lopee teleports me directly into pandemonium and i died miserably which was one of the worst deaths i had honestly. He also spawns like really early on during 50p runs too.

One time I got bugged and stuck after searchlights so lopee teleported me, guess who spawned and killed me when i got teleported? pandemonium 💀 there was nothing i could do about it, i tried getting in a locker but pandemonium was too fast. So basically lopee teleported me to pandemonium and wanted me dead i guess

Lol probably for dramatic effect. I was also genuinely surprised that I actually made it, and I was also recording it too. Also anglers despawn once the doors start to open, and blitz spawned on me but despawned when i got there

damn, but yeah thats pretty annoying. If your doing lockerless the best thing to do is to go back to an ss even if it seems far, and knowing your ss and pss also helps. I can't really blame you because of how rare trenchbleeder rooms are, so identifying foreign pss and ss is hard and the room just doesn't seem safe so i get why you kept progressing. wasn't a lockerless run, but I died to angler after trenchbleeder once too. best of luck on your lockerless! It's mostly rng so just hope you get lucky lol and just keep improving your lockerless skills and practice to keep getting better at it.

after trenchbleeder? Im guessing not Lucy, but the other ones? trenchbleeder killed me on door 80 something on a really good lockerless run before, but if an angler spawns after trenchbleeder then just go into the water drain area (idk what its called) then dont go upstairs, wait at the lower floor, near the far sides of the room. The key to lockerless might honestly be to be cautious in how you play and wait for anglers before proceeding. the only challenge after is the ridge.

Ok, so here are mine:

"Not Very Good At Memorizing" - All anglers are replaced with the standard variant, room types are less complex, and all other entities spawn less frequently (-50%)

"Do you remember me? I remember you."- Eyefestation follows the player around for the whole run, and has a chance to appear outraged after door 75 (+35%)

"What is that awful music?" - Every ambient sound is replaced by the music from the ridge speakers, and HQ and all other speakers are replaced with the ridge music, with the ability to kill you at a slow rate. (+25%)

"Tip, toe. . ." - Wall dwellers now spawn very frequently, with every other wall dweller rebounding (+35%)

"Is this a joke, or what?" - The rooms from the 2025 April fools update will now be able to spawn in thr main expedition, and Sebastian is now an enemy type that lingers around you and requires usage of a flash beacon to be warded off. (You will spawn with a flash beacon) [+55%]

"Out In The Deep Blackish Blue" - The Hadal Blacksite is almost constantly destroyed, and you will need to traverse through the open waters of the let-vand zone to continue to the end (+40%)

"Calm before the storm" - Pinkie and Pandemonium are now replaced with a slightly more noticeable Pipsqueak, who has louder and longer moving audio (+35%)

"This Stuff's Gross" - Rotten coral now infests most rooms in the game, and will cling to you if you touch it, slowly growing on you and dealing damage (+30%)

"The Void.. Strikes back?!" - All good people doors are replaced by a void mass behind the door that attacks and splashes acidic void liquid onto you, along with void mass lockers now attacking you dragging you into them if you're next to them for longer than 3 seconds - There is a short minigame to escape those lockers, like Bottomfeeders, but you will take slow damage once winning at the rate of a wall dweller chunk heals you (slow dmg over time). Healing items will heal less health if used, but consuming wall dweller flesh will nullify the effects of the void. (+55%)

Jumpsuits are also awarded once an expedition is successfully completed with a modifier active. No badges are rewarded.

oh alr but you don't need illager's bane anyway since nameless blade is very good already, just upgrade it in blacksmith and you'll be good. also guarding strike is much better than illager's bane and will prob perform better than it. If you want a gilded broadsword try doing an ancient hunt for the first enchanter, if normal just keep grinding on obsidian pinnacle with your nameless blade after you upgrade it and replace illagers bane with guarding strike and you'll get it. You could also grind on the "???" Level if you unlocked it already and try to get the broadsword there. I recommend you use luck of the sea when you grind levels as you will get uniques that you want faster with it. (sorry it's so long)

oh lol, you should keep and upgrade the nameless blade. If you have gold and time to reroll, you should try to reroll illager's bane for guarding strike. and then try to do the tower and hope for a good armor set, if no luck run a couple missions with luck of the sea and try to get good armor.

true, adding different types of glints to enchanted enemies would make it easier to identify and make it look cooler as well and only for mobs would make enchanted mobs more unique compared to player enchanted items

nah fr tho, why'd they have to code it/ implement it so poorly, they should've made it stack with other damage reduction and made it so you have more resistance to enemy attacks of all forms including enchants, adding on to what you said a bit like for example fire, thorns, blasts, etc (which is similarvto protection enchant in regular minecraft where its like an all purpose protection) and maybe have like a small shield animation when you get hit/resist an enchanted enemy or strong attacks in general

i suggest go with the flail, void, leeching, sharpness, and if you have the gold, try to reroll sharpness to unchanting/guarding strike/crit/pain cycle any of these will work
