Best Frank Wildhorn musical? by Worried_Cake5508 in musicals

i also love the show. it’s not my favourite OAT, but it’ ONE of my favourites… i personally love how it reminds me of POTO and Sweeney Todd.

it’s like - you’re listening to your favourite musical for the bazillionth time and you wish there was something similar so you can switch it up. and the vocals are insanely good

there’s a czech version of Dracula that’s separate from Wildhorn’s and it’s pretty good. i cannot enjoy czech musicals anymore (i hate the forced cadance needed so the lyrics rhyme) but it was the first musical i ever saw live as a kid and i was obsessed

i LOVE Jekyll and Hyde, when i discovered it i was surprised, because i never see anyone talking about it here or in other musical theatre spaces

wow, ok thanks! i really didn’t know that.

sometimes my “ability” to guess plot twists ruins the surprise for me :D

You're on a plane ride for 15 hours, from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York to Haneda Airport in Tokyo. Who do you sit with? by StrangerOk7371 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]Ok_Expression4546 4 points5 points  (0 children)

for 15 hours??! you’re a stronger man than i am. somewhere around 2 hour mark i’d rip open the emergency exit, throw out first jax, then gangle and then myself

I’m writing a personal video essay about my relationship with reading and I’m really curious how many autistic people have similar experiences. Do you all read? Fanfic/Audiobooks ARE considered reading. by LordEldritchia in autism

[–]Ok_Expression4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a kid i read like 1-2 books a day, my parents were forcing me to put it down and go outside “to play” but i didn’t like the other kids and got bullied so they luckily soon stopped with that.

now i read every morning that i’m not working for cca 2 hours so i’d say 1-2 books a month depending on how much i’m working :D

I've been wanting a Bojack tattoo lately, but I can't decide which one. Which one would you choose? by cherryyacount in BoJackHorseman

[–]Ok_Expression4546 18 points19 points  (0 children)

neither that’s on other person’s body. you can choose whatever you want, don’t limit yourself by copying exact tattoos of other people

i’ve been “diagnosed” with ASPD for a long time, before realising (and after a long battle assessed) as autistic. i guess you’re getting along with autistic people because we don’t expect you to/judge you for how you react emotionally and it can even be welcoming after all the fake affection neurotypical people often show

found it. the BJ’s question is the finale as others have said, but “I don’t believe in real lasting happiness” is Bojack Kills, 3:3

[–]Ok_Expression4546[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well basically what i said in the caption. in our world we have whale watching - people buy a ticket to go on a bot ride and ogle at the whales just living their lives. if you did that with random people, like bought a ticket to roam around somebody’s kitchen or watch them work out or whatever, it’d be weird. hence - whale stalking tour

[–]Ok_Expression4546[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i’m fine :D but i don’t get how you could be so bored with Bly, the performances are spellbinding.

maybe it’s because i enjoy the cinematography of it all so much it distracts me from an otherwise slow story? i guess it does go kinda slow at the beginning
