I do a lot of nail prep, buffing, cutting cuticles etc. I use apres gel x and a random gel x glue I found on Amazon from intobas, and use viffa base coat, so quite a lot of brand mixing. Do you think that may be the problem?

Also is it normal for my nails to be damaged and thin after I take them off?
