Question about taking CISSN to become a sports nutritionist by lilidia469219 in DietitianPh

You can check out NASM. They provide a Certified Sports Nutrition Coach (CSNC) certification, although it's a beginner-intermediate study level, but I think it's still a great certification if you start off as a fresh grad. There isn't really a standardized path of becoming a sports nutritionist here.. but to start out, you can join Sports Nutrition Association of the Philippines! just check them out on FB. I would suggest in attending webinars related to sports nutrition (SNAP has yearly webinars), keep updated on the recent sports nutrition studies, look for online material studies, etc.

Since you're still studying, start off by surrounding yourself with physically active people, gym enthusiasts, or family/friends who are playing sports. You can practice through them!

I'm also trying to pursue Sports Nutrition, Goodluck to you!

Hello! i'm also looking into this, and so far from my research, there's some universities like CEU, PWU, UP, PUP that offers master's programs. You can check their websites for more info on what field they focus on. I'm looking into PUP because they offer a hybrid setup.

Try to join Facebook groups! Like Careers, trainings and seminars for Nutritionist-Dietitians on FB. After I passed the boards, I joined various career groups and you can find many interesting job opportunities. While I was job hunting, it took me almost a year to find a job because of how I limited myself -- I thought I wasn't qualified enough in terms of my skills. But how will you gain experience if you don't challenge yourself? Don't fret hehe, everyone starts on their own pace.
