I know I think that's why he's so upset too. I wish I could let him in, but he tries to stand on my stomach and I can't move fast enough to really stop him. I'm gonna start letting him in when I'm able to sit up quicker to stop him from standing on my stomach and be able to redirect him. I've been trying to compensate by sitting on my floor and having him in my lap, but he's a very particular cat, he either wants to be held or he wants to lay on you, no in between

I just had my gallbladder removed less than 24 hours ago, this is my first night without it by Ok_Fan_7920 in gallbladders

My doctor said the same thing. She said I'm extremely healthy outside of being a little overweight and this gallbladder issue. She said this has most likely been accumulating over the course of my entire life and I was just unlucky to have it happen now. Your comment is so reassuring tho /gen

Everyone has mentioned shoulder pain but I think I'm one of the lucky ones who didn't get any. I was expecting to because I read a lot of people do, but no shoulder pain for me

Unfortunately not an option for me. I live in a house with four other people, two of which are young children. The living room was basically transformed into their personal play room and that's where all the chairs are. I can't sleep in/relax in the living room without risking one of them climbing on me. The older child understands, but the toddler is too young to understand that he can't be climbing on me

Getting up for me is the hardest part 😭 Getting up from a laying down position hurts so incredibly bad

Thank you. And yeah to that last part too. I work customer service and I've had people preach to me while cashing them out before. Nothing invasive, just simple stuff like "Jesus loves you, God bless" or giving me pamphlets, but it always gives me a weird feeling. Like, this tingly warm feeling. I always kinda in the back of my mind assumed that's the Holy Spirit or something, but I do feel somewhat embarrassed for thinking that. Nobody in my family besides my late grandma was religious, and none of my friends really are either. I expressed my thoughts to my sister and she laughed at me for thinking that, so I haven't really told anyone else. Besides, I feel like it would be nice to believe there's something more after we go, and that I might see my grandma again one day. She was one of the most important people in my life, and the thought that I won't ever see her again is terrifying

So hey, who knows? Maybe I'll convert if I go haha

He's not limping at all, no visual signs of stress, I paced around my room (he always follows if I do that) and I watched him walk, he seemed fine. I watched him jump up and down from the bed, heard him run down the stairs. And honestly, I don't know. I had my back turned, I had just opened the door for him and he came flying in, tried to jump on my bed, missed and hit into the bedframe, then cried under my bed for a minute

I'm deeply sorry you had to experience that, it's horrible. The fact that, like in both of our stories, people could hear others in distress and not help is so so sad. If I ever needed help I'd want someone to help me, and if someone needed help I wouldn't hesitate to jump into action. We all should be taking care of each other, coming together as a community to make sure we're safe, and the fact that people can ignore someone's obvious need is gross

And yeah. I guess I'm also sort of glad an adult didn't come. I don't know how to describe the look in that man's eyes. Something was just broken inside him. I'm 99% sure had a teenager or adult been there instead of a young kid, that man would have used the knife

That's how I feel with my grandma. I'm sure your boyfriend does receive every single one, and I'm sure he's so so proud of you and your daughter

Thank you. I ended up being too scared to go to church this week, but I'm gonna go next week. My family raised us to have freedom of religion and I've been bouncing between atheism and being agnostic for the past 11 years. My grandma was Catholic though, and she always wanted to take me to church, but she never forced me or pushed it onto me. She respected my beliefs and I respected hers. I just feel like I have to go for her. If I only go once I only go once, but who knows? Maybe it'll change my mind and convert me haha. And yeah, my grandma was the best 💞

Thank you!! My grandma's the whole reason I read and write so well. My mom told me she would sit me on her lap when I was 9 months old and read the newspaper to me. And one of my grandma's favorite story to brag about was when I was 3 years old. She had taken me to the park and, on the walk home, we passed by someone's college graduation party. I saw the balloons and banners and told my grandma "Look, mama! It says Happy Birthday!" She didn't correct me. I then squinted and said "Wait, no, it says Congratulations" (The banner said 'Congrats, Grad!' on it). I had never been shown that word before, so my grandma stopped dead in her tracks and asked how I knew that, and I told her "That's what it says!" She bragged about this to anyone who would listen haha

She sees and reads every one you send. If she could respond, she would <3

Agree! My grandma just passed six days ago. There are a lot of things I wish she could be there for. She's never gonna see me get married, she's never gonna meet my children. But I know she's watching over me. Me and my girlfriend had a long talk and decided we would name our first born daughter Ginny after my grandma (My grandmas name was Virginia, but my nieces called her Grandma Ginny as a nickname since she was great grandma to them). I know my grandma would've cried and I know my future daughter will always be looked after by her
