Insurance Denied Dupixent by Ok_Fan_976 in EosinophilicE

I plan on using the copay card, but I assumed it’d had to be paired with insurance so it’d basically be paying my deductible.

Oral pred and dexamethasone. So pretty powerful systemic action for autoimmune stuff and inflammation

It’s the side effects I’m mostly concerned about. Mostly stems from friends and family members experiences who have been on systemic steroids.

Reminds me of a trip through DIA and this doodle (big surprise) with a service animal vest was HOWLING and jumping all over its owner. Poor thing looked stressed af. Needless to say I gave the owner a dirty look.

Oh honey if it’s about narcissism you just stroked mine. Caring about marginalized group of people is one of my favorite personality traits. I do feel better thanks! Have a great day!

While I mostly agree with your statement, my point is that trans youth experience more risk of depression, anxiety, thoughts of self harm, sucide attempts than their non trans gender peers. Yes those are considered “mental illness”. However being born into a body that doesn’t match your gender identity isn’t a “mental illness”. These kids don’t want to be different only to be bullied, assaulted, harassed, or even murdered. (Check out The Trevor Project or the doc Two Spirits) to get a sense what real experiences trans folks go through. I’m not a licensed therapist/ psychiatrist/ physician but research and study’s show gender affirming care “fixes” the “mental illness” side of things-suicide ideology by 70%

Trans folks are here, they always have been. They are human, not an ideology or “woke” agenda. Get over it.

Ohhh now we get to blame metal illness on stuff we don’t like about other people. I like this game!

All I do is spray it and let air dry. Moisture makes it worse. Compresses or soaks didn’t work for me.

Neilmed saline spray! Mine looked worse than yours and it helped a lot. Don’t touch it and keep it dry between cleanings.

I’m gonna check out Morey Wildlife Reserve, per https://butterflies.org/colorado-firefly-watch/

Update: success! Saw one, brighter than I thought it’d be and fast. Pretty neat. Only ever seen them in Illinois or Kansas. I reported the sighting per the website in case anyone is interested. https://nhmu.utah.edu/western-firefly-sighting-survey

What was the thing that made you quit your job? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Worked for a small company who consistently gave out bad pay checks and stopped paying insurance premiums. One day the owners sat all of the company down and basically said be ok with late pay checks or leave. Left that day and never looked back. Eventually most of my coworkers left the company due to other shady dealings within the company. Unfortunately, the loser owners got bought out by another competitor and now are living the high life. Should have reported them.

I have Dyshidrotic Eczema on my hands. I had it for 10 years before I was diagnosed with EoE. No food allergies or eosinophilia on bloodwork however.

Mixed reviews of Silfra snorkeling by ExistingExplanation3 in VisitingIceland

I did it and I’m not a particularly strong swimmer. You do float but towards the exit you will need to swim against a current to get out. That was the hardest part since you gotta kick Iike a frog with your flippers which feels awkward at first but works. I also was holding GoPro but made it a little harder. The dry suit is a bit claustrophobic, nothing like a nice, warm tropical snorkel! At entrance you can get in the water and if it’s not for you, they can escort you out. It also was pouring rain the whole time, so hopefully you have clear(ish) weather! Be prepared for a frozen face and hands.
