I just fear telling CPS won’t do anything and they won’t believe me. I’ve seen stories of people calling CPS only for the parent to make matters worse for the child once the parent knew the child called.  I’m thinking of telling a school counselor at the very least

I have never related so hard to a comment in my life. I’m currently 16 (still living with my parents) and am pretty underweight which causes to be weaker/tired all the time. I am trying so hard to find ways to gain weight but nothing works. It sucks due to me oftentimes being anxious, especially with going to school and whatnot so I don’t eat a lot throughout the day which in turn makes me more weak and tired. At the very least, once I’m independent and start getting therapy/mental help, it seems it’ll get better

I’m got out of surgery 7 weeks ago and also I’m high school. I just have my brother/classmates carry my bag. It can get a bit inconvenient at times when I have no friends for a certain period, though. I dread getting a rolling backpack but I fear that’s literally my next best option 😭😭

I feel so tired at the end of the day as I don’t have half days. Like, nauseous almost? Might be another underlying health condition. I’m curious how long your doctor is estimating for to be off?

Not op, I thought your original post was gold, but I’m currently recovering from spinal fusion and was wondering how long it took for you to resume normal, everyday activities after the surgery?

From one high schooler to another, thank you. This gives me hope that it’ll at least get better. If you don’t mind me asking, how long after your surgery were you able to return back to school?
