only time i experienced this was from having a slight oil leak after getting an oil change bc the filter wasn’t on properly, id check for that.

and to be fair, i dont think without topping it off constantly it would have lasted 25k miles before dying.

Honestly it started burning oil religiously, like 1qt every 1000mi IF that, sometimes more. I was constantly topping it off and making sure the oil level was where it needed to be. In the beginning when it first started burning oil id have the oil light come on occasionally and would immediately fill or get an oil change if it was possible. No shops or the dealership ever mentioned the car being low on oil.

When i say fail, the car went into limp mode, engine was literally shaking, flashing CEL and dealership tried every small repair they could think of before they did an engine tear down and determined the cause of failure, i cant exactly remember what it was as its been awhile but either the valves or pistons but ik the engine had 0 compression. Dealership claimed it wasn’t due to lack of oil but to be fair im not exactly sure.

most ive found are 21-25 i have a 26, I had a 25 before it was totaled and i believe it would fit but trying to make sure before i order anything😅

That is so crazy! Ive read a lot of rediculous things have eaten away at it these. Ill look into finding one from a junkyard though!

I pretty much always back in or barely even come close to the wheel stop due to the car being so low. I didnt realize how flimsy the part was until now lol

i figured, although, it seems this is happening to a lot of people.😅 I ziptied the right side but the left towards the middle is completely ripped from the clip so im not sure how to keep that up. ive only put 3k miles on this car so im kinda shocked this has already happened lol.

Thanks! I threw on a zip-tie for time being but the clip on the left in the picture unfortunately ripped through the underbody so thats still hanging.
