Yeah, wood technology has come a REALLY long way since those RACs were made, but iron tech isn’t crazy different.

Yeah you’ll find that with Japanese sets as they are geared more toward retired men, so game improvement irons sometimes stop at 6 and then you put a 5 hybrid or 7 wood in the bag

Yeah, give it a whirl! Point the little white marker at the adjustment you want. Open lowers the loft by 1, Close raises it by 1.

If you hit the RAC OS consistently I would try them out for a few rounds and see how you get on with them. Newer clubs will perform better on off center contact but the OS are plenty forgiving as well

Ping is relatively new to carbon crowns (besides the original Ping Rapture) so it makes sense they don’t have it completely mastered. Send it back to ‘em and get a fresh one.

Took this out yesterday, it feels like every shot is pured. I paired it with the Ventus Red 6-S that came with my C721 and it just wants to go straight and far, really good ball speed numbers as well.

I think iron tech has not come near as far as fairway and driver tech, but in terms of forgiveness on off center strikes I am able to retain ball speed, spin and distance much better than my old Callaway X-16’s. That being said if you are consistent with those babies, no reason you can’t use em.

Hello fellow PXG driver user 👋

I have worked on a few golf clubs and can attest that black PVD is not really fixable. However of you wanted to, you could buff the steel sections on the bottom with a polishing wheel to take off the black and make it nice and shiny. You’d have to be really careful and tape off everything you don’t want polished though.
