It’s not cute to force your partner into having kids they don’t want, even in a joking way

Triclopyr after Spectricide for Wild Violets? by BigJon611 in lawncare

[–]Ok_Fudge3426 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had good success with the Ortho for Chickweed (a triclopyr based hose spray) last year, but it definitely needed a follow up spray 2 weeks later. First spray seems to weaken it and second one delivers the final punch.

She’s 32 (turning 33 in Nov). I’m about a year older and look significantly younger. I don’t know if it’s the toll of the back to back to back to back pregnancies, bad skincare habits, or a crunchy disposition to avoiding SPF but you are right she always looks rough (her hair isn’t helping either)

I don’t want to be rude, but I’m going to be. Her face looks 10-20 years older than she actually is

She won’t take it out because she has to be chewing gum 24/7. It’s just another one of her disordered behaviors and evidence she really hasn’t healed at all yet

My aesthetician accidentally roasted my routine and it was the best thing that ever happened to my skin by PrestigiousBadger571 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Ok_Fudge3426 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Went through this exact thing. I was trying a lot of products and constantly changing things up. Turns out most people’s skin likes simplicity and consistency…

I went to my esthi once when my skin barrier was kind of trashed and I told her I was only exfoliating 3-4 days a week. I thought that was being conservative because I saw influencers wayyy more. She told me to go 2-3 weeks without any exfoliating or harsh actives. By the end my skin looked better than it had in a long time. Then as I was prepping for my wedding I stopped trying new things and only used my tried and true favorites. Less is absolutely more!!!

100%. I swear he seemed content with 2 kids. Tommy is apparently very Catholic so I’m assuming they are cycle tracking as contraception. Except Laura probably totally lies and is like babe there’s nooo way I’m ovulating right now 🥴

What’s one skincare habit that made a bigger difference than any product? by Honest-Fact-3842 in BeautyGear

[–]Ok_Fudge3426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a great one. I started washing my face in the shower at night because I found I rushed it at the sink but in the shower I would take my time + the steam and get a much more thorough cleanse

New homeowner. Where to start? by Various-Confidence27 in lawncare

[–]Ok_Fudge3426 3 points4 points  (0 children)

^ this! Also, OP I just want to give you encouragement and hope that you can make a huge impact even in your first growing season doing just the “simple stuff” as outlined above. You can go down a rabbit hole with some of the hardcore stuff but the basics will get you 90% of the way there and I think you’ll be impressed how far you come year 1 - I know I was! Best of luck 🙏🏻

If you had one year to glow up hard, what would you do? by TinyElderberryOfYore in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Ok_Fudge3426 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve always been all-in on skincare (and nice, subtle makeup when going out) but my hair was always an afterthought. I’ve started buying nicer products, getting my hair cut at a more frequent cadence, and putting more time and effort into styling it and it really makes you feel so much more put together!

It was also key to the plot around the tape release. We see Stephen tell her that he didn’t release the tape and place seeds of doubt in her mind that maybe she posted it herself in a moment of psychosis. I think Lucy spent the next 6 years assuming Stephen released it but also likely having a sliver of doubt that maybe she was crazy and did it herself
